The Town of Clinton has a plethora of events, from Dickens Days at Christmasstime through the wonderfully silly Rubber Ducky Race in July. See their site at clintonnj.com for the complete list.
Chester is famous for its historic architecture and shopping. The highlight of the year is the Carnival and Parade in June.

Balloon Festivals
This part of the country is renowned for balooning. During the early morning or evening the sight of a hot-air balloon gliding overhead is quite common.

Of course in the summer we have not one but TWO balloon festivals. These are both spectacular events, with dozens or hundreds of ascents, evening "baloon glows", live music and a carnival atmosphere.

The Quick-Check festival is from July 29th to 31st this year. This is one of the biggest baloon events anywhere.
The Warren county Farmers Fair includes a balloon festival. It runs from Aug. 1st through Aug. 7th and is a wonderfull agricultuaral event in its own right.
